About Us

Training reporters to cover the moment as it happens

trendvixly.com was founded by working broadcast professionals who wanted to pass on the practical skills newsrooms actually need.

Our Story

Built from real live-reporting shifts, not a textbook

trendvixly.com started as a small workshop series for junior reporters in Melbourne who needed faster, more confident live segments. Since then we've grown into a full training studio serving newsrooms across Australia, with a curriculum shaped directly by what happens on shift — not by theory alone.

Every instructor at trendvixly.com still works in the field. That keeps our lessons current, whether we're covering breaking weather events, community stories, or fast-moving cultural trends.

What We Value

The principles behind every lesson

Accuracy first

We teach verification habits before speed, so every graduate reports responsibly under pressure.

Story-driven framing

Every camera choice should serve the story. We train instincts, not just technical settings.

Practice over theory

Our sessions are built around real rehearsal time, not lectures — you learn by doing.
